Getting quality backlinks to your site is a big part of proper SEO, one way to do this is to post comments to high ranking blogs related to your niche and include an anchor text link back to your site. In the past you would have to search the search engines and blog directories for related blogs and then check them for the dofollow/nofollow tags on comments, and PR rank, and several other factors before you found a good blog to post to that would give you a quality link. This is a pain and takes up a lot of valuable marketing time.

Fast Blog Finder simplifies these tasks by condensing it all down to one program that does most of the work for you. FBF will definitely save you a ton of time that can be better spent on more creative parts of your marketing.

Here’s how FBF works: You input your keywords related to your site and the software finds a number of blog posts that rank for your keywords. The free version finds up to 50 blog posts where the gold edition has no limit. Once you have your list of related blogs you can look for blogs that match your criteria. You can check and sort by domain and page PR rank, number of outbound links, blog type (dofollow/nofollow), most recent post date, and more.

Once you have your list sorted and know which blogs you wish to post comments to, all you need to do is click on a blog link and the page will load in the built in browser. Just read the post, read the comments, and post an informative related comment all from right inside the software. Make sure you post something worthwile, this program is NOT for blog spamming and should not be used that way. Posting something valuable and relevant will keep your backlinks active and sending you quality traffic for some time.

There are a lot of pros with this software but only a couple of cons. The main drawback to the free version is that even though it finds 50 blog posts, which would normally be enough to post to, it only finds 2 or 3 dofollow blogs out of the 50. This is still enough to give it a try and find out if it is for you before you buy the gold version. I definitely recommend you purchase the full version if you find you are using it a lot, but the free version is still very worth using and will help you out a lot.

The other drawback isn’t really a big deal. After I installed FBF and tried to run it, I got a failure error. It was because I use a win2000 system and I had to install a few extra files to make it work. It was easy and the link to the files you need to put into your application folder is in the FBF knowlegebase under support on FBF’s site. You only need to worry about this if you use windows 2000 and it’s an easy fix.

One of the main things I like about Fast Blog Finder is that it is very easy to use. After about 5 minutes of playing around with the interface I knew where everything I needed was and how to use it. There is no big learning curve and anyone can use it in minutes.

I also really like the detect blog type feature. A number of blogs will come back of an unknown type because there are no comments on that post for the software to check. Detect blog type searches through the last 10 posts on that blog to see if it can determine the type based on other posts comments. This will find most of the blogs types.

My overall opinion of Fast Blog Finder? Get It! It’s free and if you find you need the full version it is very reasonable. I honestly have nothing negative about FBF to say, it works much better than the similar software I have used in the past. I will be using FBF from now on.
